Photography Challenge - Week 44
19th January - 26th January 2021
If you’re looking to try new things and improve your photography, why not get involved in our weekly challenges? Achievable whether you work with natural light or studio light, our weekly challenges are designed to encourage you to get creative, practise your skills and develop new techniques. If you’ve missed any of the previous challenges, you can view them all here.
This week's challenge is...
How to get creative
There’s no time like the present, and with many of us stuck at home at the moment, we thought now was the perfect opportunity to put your interior photography skills to the test.
From wide-angle shots of your favourite room to close-up details of character-filled corners, there’s a whole host of creative opportunity without the need to even leave the comfort of your own home!
Interior photography is a great genre of photography as it doesn’t require much equipment - just your camera and a tripod - and you can easily get creative using elements such as perspective, lens choice, depth, lines, and colour. If you’re looking for some further inspiration and ideas, you could even take a look at the winners from our recent ‘Interior Spaces’ photography competition.
About the challenge
We’d love for all our members to get involved in our weekly challenges, but to ensure everyone gets maximum benefit from these, there are a few guidelines...
- Members can submit any one image (taken at any time) for the challenge but in the spirit of the challenge we encourage you to post images taken during the week. A second image can be uploaded to show this (i.e with your phone in shot with the date showing).
- All images submitted to our Facebook group will be displayed in a members gallery on Karl Taylor Education.
- Images should be 2000px on the longest side.
