Visual Education collects a variety of information that you provide directly to us, including subscribing to our courses, making a purchase and any information that may be contained in videos, comments, or other submissions you upload or post to the visualeducation.com.

Visual Education may collect information from you in the context of:

  • Account registration/subscription and administration of your Visual Education account;
  • Uploads or posts to the website, course and blog; 
  • Contest registration and prize acceptance;
  • Customer support and technical assistance;
  • Processing your order for products or services offered by Visual Education;
  • Providing updates to you regarding your Visual Education products;
  • Newsletter subscriptions;
  • Access to Visual Education products or services on social networks or third party services;

The specific types of information collected will depend upon the services you use, how you use them, and what you choose to provide and may include your full name, email address, phone number, home address, mobile phone number, credit card information, shipping address, gender, birth date, and zip code. Those who win a prize in our contests may be required additional information which will only be used for prize fulfilment purposes.

Visual Education website includes a publicly accessible blog, chat window, course pages and a members forum. You should be aware that any information including, but not limited to, comments, photos and videos you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Our members account pages and forum provides the ability to create a personal profile which gives you the option to submit additional personal and demographic information about yourself. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data where it is requested but we may be unable to provide certain products and services or proceed with your relationship with the Visual Education if you do not do so.

Information We Automatically Collect 

When you use Visual Education websites and web store, we may collect certain information as described below for such purposes as improvement of our products and services, troubleshooting bugs, providing the services, managing the services, security and monitoring purposes, tracking and analysing usage, providing content for referring traffic sources and improving overall performance of the services. 

We may use third party analytics providers and technologies, including cookies and similar tools, to assist in collecting this information, which may include but is not limited to type of Internet browser, Internet Protocol (IP addresses), geographic location (approximate), a record of how you use our services and sites, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data and other data. We may collect data that is already in anonymized or de-identified form or we may manually anonymize and/or de-identify information collected by the services or via other means so that the information does not identify you. Visual Education may use the information it collects for various purposes, including but not limited to:

Newsletters, Social Media Campaigns, Special Offers and Updates – We will occasionally send you information on products, services, special promotions, contests, customer satisfaction surveys, events, and opportunities to interact with Visual Education and our community. You can sign up to receive these emails and social media campaigns from us on our newsletter sign up page. You can unsubscribe to these newsletters at anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link on any newsletter emails.

Service-Related Announcements – We will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email or web based communication. Generally, you may not opt out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your Visual Education account.

Protecting your security

The security of personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our site, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Our Service platform is also encrypted to protect the integrity of our customers’ information.

To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party payment databases. Customer Testimonials – At times, we may post customer testimonials on our website on our site in addition to other endorsements. We may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us by email .

User-Generated Content –  You may be able to disclose information about yourself in the course of contributing user-generated content on publicly-available areas of the services, such as your Visual Education user profile.  Your Visual Education user profile and any information you post there will be publicly available. 

This includes, but is not limited to: your uploaded photos or videos, your nickname / display name publicly as and your website URL.  Your photo or video files may also contain your narrations and captions, as well as meta data regarding your geo-location, camera details and settings used. Any information you submit in the course of such activities can be read, collected, or used by other users. If you wish that a specific content generated by you shall be removed from publicly-available areas of our services, please contact us at .

Content Submitted to Visual Education – If you submit your photograph or other content to Visual Education, we may publish it on the Visual Education website along with certain information about you, e.g., your first and last name or your username. With your  consent images and videos submitted to Visual Education may be used in our promotional material as examples of Visual Education members work.

When submitting images for our photo critiques you must agree that image(s) can be discussed or critiqued on one of our live shows or within the Visual Education website by Visual Education staff. 

Service Providers – We use third party service providers to offer or facilitate services on our behalf, such as a shipping company to fulfill orders, a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services, and an email service provider to send out emails on our behalf. When you order products or subscriptions from Visual Education, we will share your information as necessary for such third party services providers to provide the applicable service to us or on our behalf. These third parties are prohibited from using any identifying information about you for promotional purposes.

Your Account.  Members of Visual Education can update their account details including, nickname / display name, email, first name, last name, website, password and billing details by visiting the ‘My Account’ page visualeducation.com/my-account-page/ when logged in.

Marketing Communications.  If you purchase a product but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference on our order form by leaving the “Opt-In” checkbox blank. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, social media campaigns and promotional emails, you may opt out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or emailing

Tailored Online Advertising Opt-Out.  Visual Education is committed to provide relevant, value-added content in the form of online advertisements. However, we respect the wishes of anyone who does not want to be tracked by third party advertising companies online. Users may opt out of cookie-based online advertising and analytics programs.
